On Thursday May 1st, the 7th grade Social Studies class traveled to St. Paul to attend the Festival of Nations. The Festival is a gathering of different ethnicities and cultures throughout the world. The students were able to experience and interact with these cultures through exhibits, performances, an international bazaar and an ethnic cafe. Tyler B. has created a very humorous cartoon of his day at the Festival:
One of the highlights of the day was the ethnic cafe. The students and I were able to try new and interesting foods from around the world. Below are some recordings of our samplings.
